THE North West Migrants Forum is looking to celebrate Northern Ireland’s inspirational Black people by including them in the next phase of its Hidden History exhibition.
Perhaps you know a Black person working in a community organisation, in a school, in a hospital? Maybe they are blazing a trail in the field of law or architecture? Or they might be the man or woman who helps children cross the road safely on their way to school each day?
From community heroes to family members to those doing brilliant work in their respective professional fields, we are keen to hear about those helping shape modern society.
We know these stories are out there, we just need the public to bring them to us!
If you have a story or you know someone you feel deserves to be included in our Hidden History exhibition, please complete this short, easy form: https://bit.ly/NIstories
You can also contact us by phone on 07912295771, by emailing aynaz.zarif@nwmf.org.uk or c.sharkey@nwmf.org.uk or via any of our social media platforms. Or go to our dedicated website, https://hiddenhistoryni.org.uk/
Let’s celebrate together!
The Black Heritage NI: Hidden History Project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
